What is Solar Lighting?
Solar Lighting integrates a photovoltaic panel, battery, and electronic management in each luminaire, providing nighttime light without grid connection. Ideal for gardens, facades, paths, and streets with very low installation costs.
Advantages and limitations
- Autonomous: no wiring or connections.
- Intelligent switching by dusk/PIR sensor.
- Limitations: autonomy and power depend on sizing and local irradiation.
Applications
- Streetlights for roads and parks.
- Wall lights for facades and patios.
- Floodlights for work/security areas.
- String lights for ambiance.
How to choose
- Define target lux and area.
- Look for a battery with 1–3 nights of autonomy and a suitable panel.
- Check IP, materials, and mounting according to environment.
